FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE ESSENTIAL - Company van use whilst on site


Salary

: Upto 30,000 per annum plus overtime available


Working hours: 40hrs per week Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Role overview





The Stores person primarily supports the premises at our Chedburgh office and stores.

Our ideal candidate will have experience gained within a similar role, you will be customer focused with a focus of delivering first class customer service to internal customers and our client.


Reliable - we are seeking a reliable ad organised individual who will be responsible for receiving, collecting from wholesalers, storing safely and distributing electrical materials and equipment.

Organised - you must be a very organised and tidy person and adhere to all health and safety requirements.

Inventory - you will maintain the store inventory accurately and ensure all our tradespeople have the correct equipment they require to complete jobs efficiently.



Principal Accountabilities:


Management of day to day inventory and stock control Control all stock from goods inwards to despatch Maintain and control stock levels To source material and tooling for all related technical jobs Processing orders and delivery of spare parts, components and lab equipment Distribution of parts to technicians Drive stores performance to meeting key service targets of 100% parts availability and zero stock-out related downtime Minimal counter service response time Maximise accuracy of database to reduce stock variance and the number of stock adjustment Improved clarity of equipment specification to ensure the right parts are in stock and supplied Drive excellent inventory management practices to ensure an optimum stock level value To load and unload deliveries Source, develop and maintain relationship with suppliers and subcontractors Adherence to all EFS and UCB Celltech processes for laboratory conditions Contribution to the smooth running of the laboratories by carrying out a range of non project procedures Improved and favourable perception of EFS as a business partner Excelling in Customer Service Maximum stock levels at all times Reduced down time due to lack of available stock
