Storesperson

to join our team in North Shields.


About The Role



Key Responsibilities



Stores & Inventory Management

+ Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
+ Maintain up-to-date records of stock levels, asset registers, and calibration schedules.
+ Carry out regular stock checks, audits, and reconciliations.

Equipment & Asset Control

+ Issue, track, and return equipment and consumables for projects.
+ Ensure tools and equipment are clean, serviceable, and maintained in accordance with manufacturers' and company requirements.
+ Manage logistics for mobilisation and demobilisation of project equipment.

Compliance & Documentation

+ Ensure compliance with Ventus Energy's ISO-accredited management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
+ Maintain records of lifting gear inspections, PPE issue, and test equipment calibration.
+ Support HSEQ processes and audits.

Logistics & Coordination

+ Arrange transport and shipping of goods, liaising with couriers and freight companies.
+ Support offshore project teams with stores requests, ensuring timely delivery.
+ Assist with project mobilisation planning and coordination.

Required Criteria



Strong organisational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail Knowledge of stock control systems, asset registers, and inventory software Forklift licence (or willingness to train) Basic IT skills (MS Office, inventory software) Commitment to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards
Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics role (engineering or energy sector experience desirable)
