Job Description
PE Systems is located in Hindley Green and manufactures battery charging equipment for use in industrial applications. Customers include National Grid, Siemens, SSE and UKPN.
Responsibilities include:
Goods receipt of items from small electronic components to large batteries. This includes checking the items, booking them into stock and placing them in the appropriate location.
Preparing component kits for manufacture.
Assisting with general stock transactions.
Forklift license not essential but advantageous.
Moving larger stock items around the warehouse, adhering to, and recording location areas.
Loading and unloading of vehicles, preparing items for despatch; therefore, you must be physically fit and comfortable using safe manual handling techniques.
Ensure all paperwork is completed appropriately.
Work in a tidy and safe manner
Advantageous skills:
Current counterbalance forklift truck licence.
Computer use.
Salary: 12.60 per hour.
Normal working hours are 38 hours per week from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 3pm on Fridays.
Holiday entitlement is 29 days per year which is inclusive of statutory holidays
