We currently have an exciting opportunity at our Grimsby LYOCELL Fibre manufacturing site within the

Procurement Department

for a full-time

Stores/Warehouse Technician

to join us, working Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:10.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and controlled operation of the Stores, ensuring stock levels are well-organised, properly maintained, and that all received goods are stored securely.

Key responsibilities for this role;

Receives and issues goods on SAP after confirming delivery note/goods match the PO and goods are fit for purpose. Ensures all paperwork and computer records relating to stock volumes are updated and correct Arranges for goods outwards to be collected and monitors the exact locations of all materials coming under Stores control Carries out regular stock checks for stores stock items as advised by Internal Audit/Global Finance. Reviews all discrepancies with Finance with the aim of understanding why and how these issues can be removed going forward Chases outstanding goods on open purchase orders if any fall overdue and resolves issues in a timely manner relating to incorrect delivery of products or quality concerns such that production demand is not impacted Follows and fulfils requirements of relevant SWP's in each work area where trained and raises any concerns regarding potential breaches of the Global Procurement GP01 policy to the Procurement Manager. Ensures that internal and external Health, Safety and Environmental standards are met in terms of both work performance and behaviour Acts as the gatekeeper for the stores such that no access is granted to enable any items to be removed by the key stakeholders whilst a Stores Technician is present. Maintains a safe and clean environment within Stores and all areas of work Responds appropriately to invoice queries received via the Tangro system

Candidate requirements;

Minimum GCSE Maths and English Language Grade A-C or equivalent Able to provide a professional counter service to employees and contractors Ability to use SAP and entering data on spreadsheets Fork Lift Licence and Stacker Truck Licence essential
