The Opportunity

We\'re on the lookout for a talented Strategic Account Executive to drive our growth and success by managing strategic third-party relationships, delivering tailored solutions and supporting their customers with Fixed Priced Supply Contacts.

What you\'ll be doing

You will be an energy expert, able to discuss contractual terms, industry regulation and market developments that could impact your portfolio. The role involves developing multi-level relationships within our strategic channel partners and working with internal support functions, to influence thinking up to board level.

You\'ll be required to understand the full scope of EDF\'s products and propositions, specialising in fixed priced supply contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

Effective Communication: Engage customers and Channel Partners (Third-Party Intermediaries) by aligning their business priorities with our products and services. Your communication and relationship skills will be your superpower.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build bridges with the right customer stakeholders and collaborate seamlessly with internal teams for success.

Portfolio Development & Organisation: Take charge of your customer portfolio, proactively seeking opportunities for growth and value maximisation whilst managing multiple tenders simultaneously.

Problem Solving: Use your analytical prowess to anticipate and solve complex deal challenges.

Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with senior stakeholders to unlock opportunities across our customer base.

Market Knowledge: Develop a keen understanding of energy markets and contribute to our growth in this sector.

Leadership: Showcase your leadership qualities and be the face of EDF.

Who you are

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven track record in a high-performing sales environment, with a knack for achieving sustainable long-term results.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to devise solutions to complex challenges.

- Exceptional communication skills, tailored to meet customer needs with authority.

- Quick at building connections and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.

- Research and analytical skills to understand customer businesses and industry trends.

- Thorough knowledge of the energy industry, particularly in a deal-focused context.

- Ability to understand and explain complex electricity sales products and financial scenarios.

- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to managed multiple deadlines in a faced paced sales environment
