Do you want to make a difference to children, young people and familes in Sheffield? We are looking for a motivated, dynamic and driven profressional to join our team at a time of exciting transformation and improvement.



You will join the Children and Familes Commissioning Management Team to lead and drive forward our priorities across our commissioning team. You will have a key role in the commissioning, contract management, service planning and future development of key strategies to improve placement sufficiency and quality, development of a children and familes commissioning strategy and service planning.



The role will require you to develop and maintain both internal and external relationships, working closely with Children's Social Care, external providers and NHS colleagues.



With a degree level qualification or relevent equivalent you'll be a commissioner with experience of commissioning at a strategic level across a number of priority areas. You will be expected to anaylse complex data and use needs assessments to shape commissioning intentions, secure funding and understand and develop markets.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.



If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide pay slip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
