We're looking for a Strategic Designer to help shape the future of technology at Legal & General. This role sits at the heart of our Enterprise Technology Strategy, working across Group CTO, Divisions and Functions to design experiences, services and value streams that deliver meaningful outcomes for our customers and colleagues. What you'll be doing:
Collaborating across teams to align strategies and identify opportunities for cross-functional innovation
Championing the voice of the end-user and visualising outcomes across technology-enabled initiatives
Applying design and futures thinking methods to lead or support workshops focused on user needs
Leading the innovation strategy and promoting a culture of experimentation across products, services and processes
Partnering with commercial teams, suppliers and external organisations to explore collaborative innovation
Supporting the implementation of the Enterprise Technology Strategy through value stream mapping and service blueprinting
Contributing to communication and engagement strategies with compelling visualisations and storytelling
Driving momentum through regular engagement, feedback and updates on strategy implementation
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
Experience in strategic design, service design or futures thinking within complex organisations
Strong ability to translate user needs into actionable design outcomes
Confidence in facilitating workshops and engaging diverse stakeholder groups
Proven track record of delivering innovation across digital, data or technology domains
Excellent communication and visual storytelling skills
Collaborative mindset with experience working across business and technology teams
Familiarity with business architecture, operating model design or process mapping
Passion for creating inclusive, user-centred experiences that drive real value
