Strategic Finance Business Partner

to join

Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG)

, working closely with our Development and Garden City Homes teams to support delivery of new homes and community investment.

About the role




You'll provide accurate, timely management information and clear financial advice to help shape decisions across major projects. Acting as a trusted partner, you'll review appraisals, monitor budgets, and ensure strong governance around cashflow, treasury and compliance.


It's a hands-on, varied role that offers visibility across the organisation and the opportunity to influence key strategic outcomes.

Key responsibilities



Partner with Development and Garden City Homes to provide financial insight and analysis. Prepare and review project appraisals, budgets and variance reports. Produce Group cashflow forecasts and support treasury activity. Complete regulatory and covenant compliance returns. Contribute to statutory accounts, audits and VAT returns. Deliver accurate monthly management information and commentary. Maintain balance-sheet integrity through regular reconciliations. Support process improvement and digital development within Finance.

What we're looking for



CCAB qualification (or equivalent)

- essential. Strong technical accounting and Excel skills. Experience producing management and financial accounts, budgets and cashflows. Confident communicating complex information to non-finance colleagues. Organised, detail-focused and able to meet tight deadlines. Flexible, proactive and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

experience within development or regeneration finance, VAT and regulatory reporting, or housing-sector treasury activity.
