About the role

As strategic finance lead you represent the Crown Prosecution Service at a corporate level, championing a collaborative approach with other government departments and external partners. You review cross-government policy proposals to assess and manage financial implications for organisation. You assess the affordability and value for money of new policy measures, ensuring financial impacts inform decisions under tight deadlines.

About you

We're looking for someone with recent experience in a project accountant, finance business partner or strategic finance role. You must hold a Level 4 qualification with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), or part qualified with the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) or equivalent and actively working towards qualification with exams scheduled.
