NHS Resolution's Claims Management function is undergoing an exciting transformationbuilding a unified, forward-thinking service that empowers teams, eliminates duplication, and fosters professional growth. As part of this evolution, we're looking for a Strategic Intervention Claims Manager to join our vibrant and fast-paced Claims Intervention Team (CIT).

What You'll Be Doing




As a Strategic Intervention Claims Manager, you'll:

Work closely with claimant solicitors to resolve claims early and identify patterns that inform strategic improvements across the claims landscape. Support Claims Managers with tools, guidance, and fresh approacheshelping to pilot innovative schemes and evaluate their impact. Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement Team to roll out new initiatives across the organisation. Spot emerging trends and behavioural patterns in claims data to inform smarter claims management techniques and drive strategic learning Explore and implement new ways of working and case management methods. Manage your own caseload of claims, applying your expertise to deliver timely and effective outcomes. Act as a change champion within the organisation, advocating for new approaches and embedding innovation into everyday practice.

What We're Looking For




We're seeking someone with strong technical knowledge and experience in

clinical negligence

or

personal injury

claims. You'll also bring:

Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload under pressure. A solid understanding of current law and relevant statutes. Excellent drafting skills for complex legal correspondence. A collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams. Outstanding communication skills and customer focus. A passion for service improvement and innovation. Sharp attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Confidence in interpreting and using data to inform decision-making, identify trends, and support continuous improvement
