Strategic People Partner

to join our People team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our logistics workforce.


This is a high-impact role where you'll partner with senior leaders across ALS to drive strategic people initiatives, support organisational transformation, and enable a high-performance culture.



What You'll Do



Act as a trusted advisor to ALS leadership, providing strategic guidance on people matters including workforce planning, talent development, organisational design, and change management. Lead the delivery of the People Plan for ALS, ensuring alignment with Asda's broader business strategy. Champion a culture of inclusion, engagement, and continuous improvement across our logistics network. Collaborate with Centres of Excellence (CoEs) and People Services to deliver seamless people solutions. Use data and insights to influence decision-making and drive measurable outcomes. Support leadership capability and succession planning across ALS sites. Navigate complex ER cases and support leaders through change and transformation.

About You



Proven experience in a strategic HR or People Partnering role, ideally within logistics, supply chain, or a fast-paced operational environment. Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate business strategy into people priorities. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. Comfortable working with data and using insights to inform decisions. Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-focused. CIPD qualified or equivalent experience preferred.
