A client in the healthcare and life sciences sector is seeking a Strategic Project Manager to join the team for a 12-month engagement. You will lead and coordinate a major initiative focused on creating a roadmap for inclusive innovation and growth, working closely with senior stakeholders across government, academia, and industry. The role involves translating strategic objectives into actionable deliverables and managing governance structures to ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the overall programme of work, acting as the central point of contact for the executive team.
• Develop and maintain the roadmap for innovation and growth, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones.
• Manage governance structures and reporting across multiple workstreams.
• Oversee coalition-building efforts and support engagement with external partners.
• Drive progress on the 12-month strategy and adapt plans as needed.

Requirements

• Experience within a top-tier consulting firm, ideally with exposure to strategy and innovation projects.
• Degree-level education from a leading university.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate objectives into actionable plans.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, able to engage credibly with senior government officials, academics, and industry leaders.
• Proven ability to drive complex programmes focused on economic growth and coalition building.

• Day rate: 700 - 800Ltd, depending on experience
