Bentley is undergoing an ambitious transformation to accelerate growth, drive innovation, and reinforce our leadership in infrastructure engineering software. To help shape and deliver this transformation, we are looking for a Strategy Manager to join our Strategy & Transformation team, Bentley's internal think tank that partners directly with the Executive Leadership Team to tackle the company's most critical challenges.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact, cross-functional initiatives spanning growth strategy, go-to-market design, M&A, product innovation, and organizational transformation. You'll collaborate with senior executives and functional leaders to define strategic priorities, design solutions, and drive execution across the global business.
Responsibilities
Lead or contribute to strategic initiatives across key domains including growth, product, M&A, go-to-market, and organizational effectiveness
Partner with senior leaders to translate strategy into actionable roadmaps and measurable business outcomes
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation and adoption of strategic initiatives
Support executive decision-making through rigorous analysis, market insights, and scenario modelling
Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Finance, Market Intelligence, Voice of the Customer) to synthesize customer, market, and competitor insights
Contribute to key corporate processes such as business reviews and strategic planning
Identify opportunities to accelerate impact and improve strategic execution
Limited travel (<10%) to Bentley offices to lead or support strategy workshops
Qualifications
Experience in a leading strategy consulting firm or equivalent background in corporate strategy, investment banking, or strategic planning within a global organization
5-7 years of total professional experience; advanced degree preferred
Proven ability to structure and solve complex strategic problems, with strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Proficiency with advanced analytical tools (e.g., Excel modelling, SQL, Power BI) desirable but not mandatory
Strong communicator able to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable recommendations for senior audiences
Self-starter with a collaborative yet decisive approach and strong leadership presence
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Experience in AEC or infrastructure-related industries helpful but not required
