Job Description
Are you passionate about safeguarding and making a difference in the lives of children and young people?
We're looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to join our 0-19 Service as a Strategy Lead . This vital role sits within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and plays a key part in ensuring the health needs of children and young people are identified, represented, and shared during multi-agency strategy discussions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic, child-focused team, driving forward safeguarding excellence across Knowsley.
Key responsibilities include:
Attending and contributing to strategy meetings for children and young people.
Independently sourcing and collating health information from the Integrated Children's Division.
Ensuring health perspectives are embedded in safeguarding decisions.
Working autonomously within the MASH team while collaborating closely with partner agencies.

Policies allow for continuity and consistency within the Trust. Employees must abide by and adhere to all Wirral Community NHS Trust's policies, at all times.
Registered health professional (e.g., nurse, health visitor, school nurse) with current NMC registration.
Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation, procedures, and thresholds.
Experience of working in multi-agency settings, ideally within a MASH or safeguarding context.
Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Confident in using electronic health records and information systems.
