What you'll be doing
Join the Strategy & Optimisation Programme and gain the essential experience and skills to excel at Legal & General. You'll start with a cohort of graduates and dive into our engaging induction, giving you insights into our business and helping you build a strong professional network.
In this full-time, permanent role, you'll receive on-the-job training and coaching from your line manager and team, enhancing your business acumen and risk skills, equipping you with the knowledge to tackle real-world business challenges.
Over two years, you'll rotate across various teams that make up Strategy & Optimisation so that by the end of the programme, you'll have a clear vision of where your interests, skills and experience can take you within Legal & General.
During the programme you will
:
Kick off with the Future Talent induction to introduce you to L&G and your new peers.
Support, and shape, the delivery of the L&G Retail strategy to our operational team.
Collaborate with the operational teams to identify opportunities to continuously improve customer journeys and operational processes.
Work with the latest AI, automation, and chat bots to enhance the customer experience and improve efficiency and quality.
Assess, and feedback, the quality-of-service colleagues are providing to our customers and how well they identify potential vulnerability.
Understand how to create and deliver a blended learning approach to engage and develop colleagues and ensure compliance.
Produce and analyse data to support our strategic, and tactical, resource plans to manage costs and meet customer expectations.
Apply the knowledge and skills that you'll learn to your role.
Be part of a multi-functional team and develop your collaboration skills.
Network with new colleagues within your team, and across the wider organisation.
Gain complete oversight of the various functions of a modern organisation.
Qualifications
What we're looking for
We are looking for people with an inquisitive mind and a desire to learn. We're not expecting prior industry experience, but we'll want to see that you have the tools to develop quickly. These include:
2.1 Degree in any subject - we are open to all subject backgrounds.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of numeracy.
Great communication skills, written and verbal.
Committed to achieving goals.
Adaptable and open to new ideas.
Good IT skills including PowerPoint and Excel.
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively.
