We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in various settings, including homes and some care home settings. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised support and assistance.

Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Administer first aid and respond to emergencies as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring clients are comfortable and secure. Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to nursing staff or management. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Support clients with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals. Foster a respectful and trusting relationship with clients while maintaining their dignity and privacy.

Experience

Previous experience in care settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of patient care techniques and best practices is advantageous. Certification in first aid or relevant caregiving qualifications will be considered an asset. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams. A genuine passion for providing compassionate care to individuals of all ages, including children and seniors.
