This role is subject to -

Qualification - A relevant technical qualification in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent and/or appropriate experience of contract management in this field

Driving Licence \xe2\x80\x93 you must always hold a full valid driving licence

Casual Car Documentation - The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis, but are not essential to the role. If you do drive, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work, as well as provide all the appropriate documentation. You will receive an allowance per mile of business use.

Manage Street Lighting contracts relating to the procurement and delivery of public lighting maintenance repairs and new installation

\xe2\x97\x8f Manage the quality and performance of contractors

\xe2\x97\x8f Business case checkpoint & Contract approvals

\xe2\x97\x8f Value for Money, solutions and innovation managing a street lighting highway maintenance contract

\xe2\x97\x8f Liaise with Stakeholders, Councillors and where necessary prioritise packages of work

\xe2\x97\x8f Manage Performance

\xe2\x97\x8f Ensure all works are co-ordinated appropriately

\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for the management of the Street Lighting PFI Contract

\xe2\x97\x8f Performance reporting and quality checks

\xe2\x97\x8f Agree any new installations

\xe2\x97\x8f Commuted sums

\xe2\x97\x8f Management of the LED contract.

\xe2\x97\x8f Technical Reference for all street lighting

\xe2\x97\x8f Management and maintenance of non-PFI related street and sign lighting

\xe2\x97\x8f Management of the PFI lighting budget

\xe2\x97\x8f Technical checks of any new installations.

\xe2\x97\x8f Manage the Street Lighting Engineer

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be able to show that you have significant knowledge and experience of undertaking a similar position within the industry, gained within either a Local Authority, Consultancy, or the Private sector.

A relevant technical qualification in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent and/or appropriate experience of contract management in this field.

You will be able to contribute to service delivery and manage your own workload without day-to-day supervision, across all types of projects, from small to complex commercial schemes whilst managing the Team and the supply chain partners.
