LV Cable Jointer

to join our team, primarily operating across the Midlands.

The Opportunity

As an experienced LV Cable Jointer, you will be a vital part of our operational team, responsible for ensuring the successful electrical installation and maintenance of street lighting and highway furniture.

Core Responsibilities:

Perform all aspects of

LV cable jointing

on both plastic and PILC networks. Conduct

cabling

and jointing work specifically related to street lighting columns and other highway furniture. Ensure all jointing and cabling work is completed safely, to the highest standards, and in line with industry regulations. Work collaboratively as a strong team member, helping others to achieve project completion efficiently. Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.

Location & Working Details

Salary

34,000.00 - 40,000.00

per year, dependent on experience.

Contract Type

Permanent, Full-Time.

Working Hours

Standard Monday - Friday, with

flexibility required

for

occasional weekends and nights

based on operational needs.

Operating Area

Primarily based across the

Midlands

, including

Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, and Staffordshire

. We cover nationwide as required.

Work Location

On the road/site based.

Essential Requirements

We are seeking a specialist in this field. Please only apply if you meet all of the following criteria:

Experience & Qualifications (Required):

A minimum of

2 years' experience

in LV cable jointing on both

plastic and PILC

networks. Demonstrable experience jointing on

National Grid

and other network operators, particularly within the Midlands area. Possession of a

UK recognised cable jointing / jointers mate certificate

or equivalent certification.

City & Guilds 2339

or an equivalent electrical qualification.

Licences & Training (Required):

Full UK Driving Licence.

New Roads and Street Works (NRASW) Ticket

(Street Works). Valid

First Aid

certification. Current

Manual Handling

certificate.
