Streetscene Supervisor



Full time, Permenant



G09 - 37,035 - 39,513



We're looking for an internal candidate to manage and champion delivery of the Streetscene both within and outside the organisation proactively seeking and enabling innovation and continuous improvement in the delivery of departmental services some of which are below.



The successful candidate will manage all employees and resources necessary to deliver streetscene functions.



This includes:

Highways

Waste and recycling

Grounds maintenance

Responsibility for large numbers of individuals making up teams (40+).



This will include ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) submitted and are relevant and fit for purpose.



They will also be responsible for the work of sub-contractors working on Environment and Technical sites, also ensuring sub-contract operatives are suitably qualified and certified for the work they are undertaking.



They will oversee the day-to-day running operations of all areas of service within Streetscene and Environment and Technical projects and be responsible to ensure all team members are suitably trained for tasks they complete.



They will manage any accidents/Incidents that occur to have the responsibility of delegation to ensure procedure is followed and will initiate communication with stakeholders/third parties and members.
