36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 start (flexible on working pattern, to be agreed at offer stage)

Permanent, Full Time

About the role

Do you love working in the outdoors? Then this is the job is for you. We are now recruiting for a Streetsweeper/Driver to carry out sweeping and other general cleansing duties in the Borough.



Some of the duties include:



Driving 'compact' Sweeper (Subject to training and gaining appropriate licence) Undertake, working alone or as part of a team, the cleansing of highways and other areas. Litter-picking Manual Sweeping Driving 3.5 cwt Pickup Truck Utilise 'Orderly Barrow' Litter Bin emptying Graffiti removal Collecting & Removing Fly-tipping Other General Cleansing Work

Essential criteria

A current clean driving license is essential for driving 3.5 cwt trucks and for driving a precinct mechanical sweeper, appropriate training will be required.
