Job Title: Streetworks Coordinator / Planner



Location: Tipton / Walsall based with site travel



Salary: Up to 28,000 per annum



A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Streetworks Coordinator / Planner to join our growing team based between Tipton and Walsall. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for coordinating and planning Streetworks activities, supporting civils projects in the water infrastructure sector. You'll ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations.

What's the role:



Plan and coordinate all Streetworks activities for water infrastructure schemes, ranging from minor works to large-scale civils projects. Prepare and submit permits and notices using Street Manager or Aurora, in line with NRSWA and local permit scheme requirements. Ensure compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA), Traffic Management Act, and other relevant industry legislation. Liaise with stakeholders including internal teams, clients, local authorities, and third-party contractors to ensure smooth delivery of works. Prepare digital job packs, ensuring field teams receive accurate and complete information. Track permit progress, inspections, and FPNs while maintaining internal records and dashboards to support billing, reporting, and delivery. Attend site visits to verify constraints, gather information, and support field teams--occasional travel is required. Support the operations team, contribute to team objectives, and help maintain a culture of compliance and high performance.

What you'll need:



Proven experience in a coordination, planning, or administrative role--ideally in construction, utilities, or infrastructure. Strong understanding of NRSWA requirements and permit systems like Street Manager or Aurora (training available). Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail. A full UK driving license is desirable for travel to operational sites.
