About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced groundworker to join the Trueform team.
Based at the company's manufacturing & technology centre in Hayes, Middlesex, the post holder will be required to support the company's multi-site street furniture installation works throughout Greater London.
The successful candidate will be joining a small friendly team and work closely with a variety of highly skilled and experienced managers, who will provide employees with the drive to succeed the opportunity for career progression in the organisation.
Responsibilities & Duties
Your main responsibilities and duties will include:
Installation labouring
To install and maintain street furniture (bus shelters / stops / signs)
To undertake groundworks including; digging / excavation, and reinstatement
To undertake all works in accordance with Trueform's Safe Systems of Work.
Operating Machinery
To operate relevant machinery and tools in a safe manner.
To operate vehicle mounted crane including loading and unloading vehicle ensuring the load is secure and safe.
Driving and Vehicle Maintenance
To clean and maintain vehicles.
To ensure that all vehicle faults, driving and site incidents and accidents are reported.
Quality Control and Continuous Improvement
To ensure quality of workmanship and company quality control systems are adhered to.
To maintain a high standard and quality of work.

Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications and experience:
Required:
HGV Class 2 driving license
GCSE English and Maths
Able to read and understand engineering / construction style drawings
Holder of a full driving license for more than 12-months for insurance purposes.
Holder of Operative New Road and Street Works Act Certification.
Manual Handling
Preferred:
Previous experience in a similar role/ assembly
CSCS Certification
Lorry Mounted Crane Certification
use of CAT scanners/ hand and power tools.
What You will Receive
Working Pattern: 8 to 10 hours per shift, Monday to Friday (6:00 am to 14:30 / 16:30 pm). Occasional night and weekend working required.
