supplier quality, delivery, pricing, and service

Key responsibilities include:
Driving strategy and execution with cross-functional partners (engineering, manufacturing, product management).
Managing competitive bids, negotiations, contracting, and continuous improvement for assigned commodities/services.
Collaborating across business units and regions for optimal TE leverage.
Ensuring compliance with TE policies and procedures.

Develop and implement regional procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and aligned with industry challenges.
Ensure purchasing policies and processes meet business objectives and operational needs (price, quality, delivery).
Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, materials, and cost-saving opportunities.
Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery terms.
Use appropriate resources (including Supplier Development) to ensure supplier partnerships and delivery of sourced products.
Build and maintain long-term vendor relationships.
Provide management reports, KPIs, and monitor cost performance.
Ensure parts are sourced in full alignment with production schedules and customer requirements.
Lead cross-functional projects for localization and outsourcing.
Your ideal background
Master's degree in business, Supply Chain and Engineering.
Study CIPS and working towards MCIPS.
Some basic knowledge of Mechanics and Machine Turning
3 to 5 years of experience in the Defence and Aerospace Industry in Strategic Procurement .
Project management capabilities
Fluent in English and French is a plus
