Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in system design and proficiency in various design software. This role involves collaborating with engineers and architects to create innovative structural designs that meet project specifications and standards. The Structural Designer will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and functionality of structures while adhering to safety regulations.

Duties



Develop and produce detailed structural designs using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure designs align with project goals and timelines. Conduct calculations and analyses using tools like Mathcad to verify the structural integrity of designs. Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction projects. Review and modify designs based on feedback from engineers, clients, or regulatory bodies. Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions related to design issues. Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations throughout the design process.

Requirements



Proven experience in structural design or a related field is essential. Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Civil 3D is required. Strong understanding of system design principles and project management practices. Excellent mathematical skills for performing calculations related to structural analysis. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy in design work. Effective communication skills for presenting ideas and collaborating with colleagues.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 41,123.00-80,000.00 per year
