Structural Engineer

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our expanding team. If you have a minimum of 3 years design experience, we'd love to hear from you! Open to considering from 3 years through to senior level engineers.

About the Role:

As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering a variety of projects. You'll collaborate with our experienced team, contributing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to develop innovative and efficient structural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Structural analysis and design for a range of projects Utilising Tekla Structural Designer to produce accurate and efficient models Conducting structural surveys and preparing reports on findings Working collaboratively with clients, architects, and other engineers Ensuring designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements Assisting in project coordination and reporting

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of structural design experience. A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Understanding of building codes and industry standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Have good communication abilities. Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Have good experience and/or qualifications of Autodesk AutoCAD

The following would be advantageous but not mandatory:

Have experience of Autodesk Revit Have a full UK driving licence. Experience in structural surveying and report preparation.

This position is based in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. You must be capable of commuting to this office at least three days a week, or happy to relocate to the North East for the job.
