Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and overseeing the construction of various structures, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and meet all regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong foundation in engineering principles and a passion for innovative design.

Duties

Develop detailed structural designs and specifications for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Conduct structural analysis using software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to facilitate project development from concept through to completion. Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring quality control throughout the construction process. Prepare technical reports and documentation for clients and regulatory bodies. Perform site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications. Provide solutions to any engineering challenges that arise during the construction phase.

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD and CAD software for creating detailed drawings and plans. Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with structural analysis tools. Knowledge of Revit for building information modelling (BIM). Familiarity with Advance Steel for drafting purposes. Solid understanding of construction methods and materials. Excellent mathematical skills for precise calculations in system design. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
