The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and overseeing the construction of various structures, this is mostly lofts and domestic houses with a fast turnaround must be able to work fast and hard as I do around 2000 miles a week covering the whole country...the pay is the best you will ever get
Responsibilities
Design and analyse structural systems for buildings and other structures using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
Manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to structural designs and calculations.
Utilise tools such as Mathcad and Civil 3D for system design and analysis.
Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase to resolve any issues that arise.
Requirements
A degree in Structural Engineering or a related field is essential.
Proven experience in structural design and project management is highly desirable.
Proficiency in engineering software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and Mathcad.
Strong mathematical skills with the ability to apply engineering principles effectively.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
A thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations is required.
