About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Structures Technician
to join our [engineering/laboratory/site testing] team. In this role, you'll support the testing, monitoring, and assessment of structural and foundation systems for a range of civil and infrastructure projects. Working closely with engineers and project managers, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate data that underpins the design, maintenance, and performance evaluation of critical assets.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the planning, setup, and execution of structural and foundation testing programs (e.g., load testing, pile testing, strain gauging, non-destructive testing).
Prepare, calibrate, and maintain testing and monitoring equipment.
Collect and record field and laboratory data to high technical standards.
Support data analysis and contribute to technical reports and documentation.
Work safely in accordance with company and industry health, safety, and environmental standards.
Assist with equipment logistics, site preparation, and post-test demobilization.
About You
HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field (or relevant experience).
Hands-on experience in structural or geotechnical testing, instrumentation, or site investigation is desirable.
Strong practical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
Comfortable working outdoors and on construction or infrastructure sites.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Full UK driving licence (or equivalent) preferred.

Pay: 16.00-24.00 per hour
