Responsibilities
Assist in the inspection of aircraft structural components, learning to identify damage, wear, and compliance with engineering standards.
Support the creation and maintenance of component work packs, including technical data, inspection findings, and relevant documentation.
Apply existing sheet metal skills to assist with structural repairs, part preparation, and workshop processes as required.
Collaborate with other workshop zones, providing support across teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely task completion.
Maintain high-quality standards in all work carried out, with close attention to accuracy, safety, and compliance with aviation regulations.
Complete required paperwork and reports accurately, ensuring traceability and alignment with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
Adhere strictly to company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.
Take an active role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment in accordance with Health and Safety policies.
Demonstrate a proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to professional development in a regulated aerospace setting.
Experience and Qualifications
Proven background in engineering and maintenance, with hands-on experience in structural repairs, fabrication, and assembly of sheet metal components.
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools, precision measuring equipment, and workshop machinery relevant to structural work.
Experience working to technical drawings, specifications, and engineering instructions, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks.
Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness, and safety in a workshop environment.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to follow detailed procedures and complete technical documentation accurately.
Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn new inspection and aviation-specific processes.
Comfortable working shifts, including nights, in a fast-paced and changing environment.
