Student Engagement Advisor

------------------------------

Job description
Leeds Trinity University is a renowned institution located in the heart of West Yorkshire, dedicated to providing a transformative educational experience. With a rich history dating back to 1966, we have grown into a dynamic and inclusive community that champions academic excellence, personal growth, and professional success. We offer state-of-the-art facilities, a supportive environment, and a strong sense of community, making it a great place for students and colleagues to thrive.

We are seeking a candidate for the role of Student Engagement Adviser in the Student Support and Engagement Directorate. The post plays a key role in supporting the university's aim of improving progression rates and levels of student retention, achievement and satisfaction. Experience in supporting students, using and interpreting data and working across university teams is important to the role.

Duties will include supporting individual students and working with academic colleagues and specialist professional services teams to ensure that early interventions are put in place for students at risk. As part of this, will be responsible for identifying trends in student engagement within large data sets. They will design and implement early interventions to ensure that students re-engage with their academic work and studies, with the objective of improving student attendance, retention and continuation. The candidate must have the ability to work to tight deadlines and to manage their own workload with some directed support

This role will be located at both Leeds Trinity University campus in Horsforth, Leeds and City Campus, as required. As this is a student-facing role, the postholder will be expected to work on-site, although there will be occasional opportunity to work from home.

The closing date for this role is Monday 10th November 2025.
