Preston College is seeking dynamic and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Student Manager. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively and effectively with both curriculum and support staff whilst playing a crucial part in providing effective support for our students in both group, and one-to-one settings. Your primary focus will be on promoting positive engagement, encouraging academic achievement, and ensuring a seamless progression for our learners as they transition into college life. Additionally, you will support your students as they prepare to transition to University and/or employment.
As a Student Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring various aspects of learner development, including attendance, retention, progression, achievement, and overall satisfaction. Your keen attention to details and commitment to student success will be evident, as you implement agreed-upon intervention strategies, tailored to meet the unique needs of your assigned students.

The college is looking to recruit a 0.8 FTE. This position will include one evening a week (5.30pm - 7.30pm).
