We are looking for an NMC registered nurse who would like to access a fully funded training opportunity (Level 7), to qualify as a registered specialist community public health nurse (School Nurse), commencing January 2026 with the University of Greenwich.

How to become a School Nurse?
Successful applicants will be sponsored/seconded on a midpoint Band 5 salary for the duration of the programme. Tuition fees are paid by the NHS. Travel expenses will be paid when on business travel only.
The programme comprises 50% theory and 50% practice and runs for 45 weeks per year with holidays at various points throughout the programme.
Attendance at university for taught session is usually two days per week between 09:00 and 17:00. You will also be expected to undertake self-directed study when not in university.
We will provide you with a wide range of experiences in a diverse population; giving you the chance to develop the skills and competencies to become a registered school nurse.
You will be fully integrated into a friendly, supportive team who work together to ensure you have every opportunity to fulfil the requirements of the programme, including 1:1 support from a Practice Assessor/Supervisor.
