The Role:

The Student Support Services Department offers a complete in-house service to support students throughout their time at the University. The Department's activities cover a wide range of support services disciplines, dealing with personal support, student advice, student wellbeing services, disability services, student finance, chaplaincy, ResLife and more. The Department also leads on student safeguarding and student experience projects for the University.

The core purpose of this role is to provide ensure that students feel supported and receive an excellent level of support, enabling them to thrive and play an actively engaged part of our vibrant student community.

This is a front facing role, so staff are required to be on campus during opening hours (08:30 - 17:00/16:00). We do offer time off in lieu of working weekend events and ad hoc work from home requests will be considered on a case by case business, business need allowing.
