Student Support Worker
Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Student Support Worker in Hailsham, East Sussex, to work night shifts.
Main Responsibilities
As a Student Life Co-ordinator, some of your responsibilities will be:
- Promoting a sense of belonging and facilitating a positive and respectful community among students.
- Provide advice and support to the students overnight, including emergency and crisis response if needed.
- Provide administrative support to the student services team
- The role also includes evening and/or weekend commitments, and some travel is required
- Full-time, normal working hours will be 48 hours per week worked as 12-hour shifts over 4 nights
- Experience in a social care setting or similar environment.
- Experience living and working in a university residence setting and/or experience working or volunteering in student affairs, residence life, or student life roles would be desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
