This post is full-time, 35 hours per week and maternity cover until September 2026.
As this is a dynamic role, a flexible and adaptable approach to working patterns will be essential to meet the changing needs of students and the University.
We offer a hybrid working model. The successful candidate will be expected to work on-site a minimum of two days per week, with additional days as required.
We're looking for a compassionate and experienced Student Wellbeing and Inclusion Manager to join our Student Support and Residential Life department within the Student and Academic Services Directorate on a maternity cover basis.
We're seeking a compassionate, strategic, and experienced leader to join our Student Support and Residential Life team on a maternity cover basis. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the delivery of inclusive, proactive, and student-focused wellbeing and disability support. You will manage a team of skilled professionals, lead our response to student-of-concern matters, and ensure excellence in support services that foster a culture of belonging and care. You will work collaboratively across the institution to champion inclusive practices, influence strategic developments in wellbeing, and help shape a positive student experience for all.
Applicants must have substantial knowledge of the higher education sector, particularly in student services management and administration, as well as comprehensive knowledge of disability and equality legislation, with a clear commitment to staying current with policy developments. You will demonstrate best practice in safeguarding and bring excellent people management and interpersonal skills.
