Sunny Art Centre is a leading art academy in central London, specialising in professional art courses for adults, children, and portfolio preparation. We provide high-quality tuition in drawing, painting, and mixed media, helping students of all levels develop their artistic skills in a supportive and inspiring studio environment.
The Role
This is a dynamic, hands-on position combining
studio administration, customer service, marketing, and sales
. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable welcoming students into the studio as they are filming engaging TikToks, drafting newsletters, or explaining courses to prospective parents.
You'll play a key role in both the
front-facing daily operations
of the studio and in driving
marketing campaigns
that showcase our courses and exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities
Studio & Admin
Act as first point of contact for visitors, students, and parents.
Handle enquiries (in person, by phone, and email) and guide clients through our courses and services.
Manage bookings, scheduling, and general administrative tasks.
Support the smooth running and light maintenance of the studio space.
Assist with planning and coordination of classes, workshops, corporate events, and exhibitions.
Marketing & Sales
Plan, film, and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms.
Maintain and grow our social media presence with engaging, consistent content.
Work with the team on newsletters, campaigns, and promotions to drive course bookings.
Monitor engagement, track performance, and adapt strategies to boost visibility.
Support consultations with prospective students/parents, upselling courses where appropriate.
Contribute ideas and content that reflect the values and creative atmosphere of Sunny Art Centre.
Requirements
Proven experience in
social media content creation
(TikTok, Instagram, or similar).
Sales experience is preferred
Strong video editing skills with an eye for trends and storytelling.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Organised, proactive, and confident handling admin and sales tasks.
Office literacy (Word, Excel, Gmail) is essential; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Sales or customer service background is preferred.
A passion for art and culture, with the ability to thrive in a creative studio environment.
