We're looking for a passionate and proactive Studio & Marketing Assistant to join our Design team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a creative environment, working closely with our Marketing Executive to support the delivery and achievement of our upcoming design projects.



Reporting to our Design Studio Manager, you will play a key role in helping us bring our brand to life across digital platforms, including social media and digital marketing, all while ensuring everything ties together with our long-established company heritage and branding.



As a Studio & Marketing Assistant in a busy Design Studio, the role is varied and requires a full hands-on approach when helping to complete our design objectives. This role requires someone who not only has that eye for detail but will happily pitch in and move a prop or two on an in-house photoshoot, to name a specific example.



Daily tasks include but are not limited to:



Assist in planning and creation of creative marketing material for use across social media, website and print. Schedule online, print and internal marketing content. Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all digital and social media platforms. Assist with copywriting and proof reading for marketing campaigns. First point of contact for social media enquiries and provide assistance on press releases. Assist in the presentation of all ROD products for display and marketing purposes. Assist in photographic shoots at ROD and on location. Maintain ROD websites and other digital platforms. General Design Studio administrative duties. Other duties as required.

The ideal candidate:



A proven track record in a similar role. A strong interest in Interiors and / or textiles, with an appreciation for craftsmanship and design. A degree in Textiles, Design, Marketing, or a related creative field preferred. An excellent understanding of social media channels and digital marketing platforms, up to speed with the latest social trends, algorithms and best practices. Experience of working with Mailchimp, Flodesk, WordPress, Meta, and/or similar platforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including copywriting and the ability to learn and write in the company style. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent design tools. Creative with a keen eye for detail.

Hours of Work:

37.5 per week, 09.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday including 30 mins unpaid for lunch.
