About the role

The BA MEDIA is UCL's first undergraduate media programme, though its design has been informed by longstanding postgraduate programmes in a range of media-related disciplines, including media and cultural studies, film studies, and ethnographic documentary film. The BA combines theory and practice, offering practice-based pathways in game design and film-making, and theoretical grounding in media histories, media ethnography and semiotics



The postholder will play an important role in supporting the BA MEDIA, collaborating with other studio technicians and supporting the media programmes. They include the MA Digital Media and the BA pathways in practical production work with a focus on games/interactive media.



This post will be based in the new Marshgate building at UCL East, with state-of-the-art specialist facilities in media production and is offered at 0.7 FTE (25.55 hours per week).


About you

You will have extensive knowledge of media production workflows: Game design, 3d design, VR and Unreal engine, along with extensive knowledge and experience of fundamentals of media and Game productions.
