Study Programme Careers Advisor


Hours:

37.5hrs per week term time Mon - Fri- 8:30-4:30


Schedule:

Day shift (Monday to Friday)


Salary:

Up to 25,116 a year


Location:

Lowestoft


Work Location:

In person, Full driving licence and own vehicle essential

What you'll do:




1:1 Career Guidance





Conduct one-on-one career meetings with all learners twice a year, providing them with tailored advice and support.


Workshop Facilitation





Lead engaging classroom workshops on career-related topics.


Event Participation





Represent WS Training at careers and open events to promote our services and opportunities.

Partnership Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with external agencies to support our learners' career pathways.


Admissions Support





Collaborate with our recruitment team to match learners to the right opportunities.


Work Experience Support





Sourcing work experience placements and communicating with appropriate stakeholders.



Requirements





Qualifications & Experience:




GCSEs in English & Maths (Grade C or equivalent) Prepared to work towards Level 4 qualification in CEIAG (Career Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance) Experience in supporting students or providing careers guidance-Preferred but not essential * Registration with the CDI (Careers Development Institute) or willingness to achieve this qualification
