About us:



WS Training are looking to appoint a Study Programme Tutor (maternity cover up to 12 months) for our post 16 and SEND courses including Vocational Studies or/and maths, Employability, English and PSHE.

We seek someone hardworking, organised and proactive in their professional development with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.

FTE salary 27,810 - 36,048.97

- this is dependant on qualifications & experience - proof of qualifications will be requested.

The salary will be pro rata based on 45 weeks.



Part Time - 4 days a week, term time only.

Expected start date - January 2026, with opportunity to complete some induction days prior to the start date.

- Teaching FS English and Vocational Studies Level 1

- Contributing to the initial assessment process, induction activities and identifying gaps in learning.

- The use of baseline assessments to plan suitable sessions enabling learners to access learning that is motivational and inspiring.

- Assisting students to improve their own learning and performance by developing their study skills.

- Devising appropriate interventions to support students to remain on track for completion of their course.

- Agreeing and putting in place relevant targets and actions.

- Taking responsibility for planning and delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment to our students who have a broad range of barriers to learning and/or Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
