FTE Salary: Up to 24,588.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)





Actual Salary: Up to 12,642.94



Contract Type: Part- time, Term Time Only, Fixed Term until 31st July 2026



Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

SGS College have an exciting opportunity for a Study Skills Facilitator to join our dynamic and vibrant LibraryPlus team at our Filton and Wise campuses. The successful applicant will need to work flexibly within the team whilst providing a high-quality service to students and staff.



Key Tasks and Responsibilities

This role is key to facilitating independent learning and enabling Foundation, GCSE, A Level, Vocational and higher education learners to achieve their potential. You will meet with learners via face to face and online sessions, on an individual, small group and as a whole class, to support them with their academic studies. You will be a role model for learners and staff, demonstrating good academic practice and raising standards of achievement. Demonstrate strong administrative skills and maintain meticulous records of all work completed.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

A genuine passion for inspiring learners and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem-solving. Proven ability to work collaboratively and successfully as part of a dynamic team. Excellent academic and communication skills, with a passion for motivating and supporting diverse learners. You will be extremely comfortable using digital learning tools, particularly Microsoft 365 applications (such as Teams and OneNote), to facilitate engaging study skills sessions and create digital resources.
