HS2, Britain's new high-speed railway is at peak construction. Balfour Beatty VINCI is HS2's construction partner in the Midlands, responsible for delivering 90km of the route, from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.

Sub Agent

Location:

Based in Coventry - the South Region comprises Sublots 2B, 2A and 1A Long Itchington Wood. It stretches for approximately 39.2km from Finham Brook to Southam through a mixture of rural and suburban landscapes

Role Responsibilities:

The Sub Agent supports safe site delivery through strong HSE practice, assists with QA records (ITPs, checksheets, as-builts), and helps manage subcontractors, reporting, EWNs and CEs. They provide technical support across earthworks, drainage and mass haul, including inspections and handovers. The role requires planning capability, use of tools such as MS Project/P6/Tilos, strong digital skills, and full-time site presence.

Essential Experience:

Supports strong HSE culture, daily site safety and environmental awareness. Assists with QA processes including ITPs, checksheets, records and as-builts. Supports subcontractor coordination, progress meetings, EWNs, CEs and site activity control. Provides technical support across earthworks, drainage, mass haul, testing, handovers and Series 300/500/600 requirements. Contributes to planning and uses key systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, MS Project/P6/Tilos) in a full-time site-based role. Have experience working in Earthworks, Roadworks, Structures or Drainage.
