Full or Part-Time Regional Social Housing Kitchen Designer - Self Employed

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Regional Social Housing Kitchen Designer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by designing practical and visually appealing kitchens for social housing developments within your region.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our clients and customers to create kitchen designs to social housing specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

To follow a Design Brief and collaborate with project managers, liaison officers, and residents to understand their requirements and preferences for kitchen design in social housing projects.

Conduct site visits to assess existing kitchen layouts and resident needs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Create detailed 2D and 3D renderings as well as floor plans to communicate design concepts to tenants and contractors.

Requirements:

Previous experience in kitchen design for social housing preferred but not essential.

Proficiency in CAD software Fusion 20-20 preferred but not essential.

Knowledge of kitchen design principles, space planning, and regulations in the UK.

Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy, precision, and quality in design deliverables.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Valid driver's license and access to own car for travel to project sites within the region.

Working Hours - Monday to Friday - On average between 9am - 3pm

Day Rate 115 per day
