We are seeking a skilled Subcontractor to join our team and assist in various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in multiple trades, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively with other tradespeople.

Duties

Cladding and Decking Installer as main role.

Perform carpentry tasks including framing, installation of doors and windows, and cabinetry works ( if required) Carry out construction painting tasks, applying finishes to various surfaces with precision. installation of decking and exterior cladding a must. Conduct welding operations for metal structures and components as required. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, cladding and decking installations, although training can be discussed. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the construction industry. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Own tools and van required. A valid driver's licence is preferred for transportation to various job sites.
