Role Summary:
As part of the Content team, the Sub-Editor is a key brand guardian for NET-A-PORTER, responsible for upholding the brand tone of voice and in-house style across editorial and marketing content, global campaigns, and customer communications. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, has impeccable spelling and grammar, and can manage multiple projects to tight deadlines. With a meticulous eye for detail, a deep understanding of luxury fashion, and strong digital fluency, you'll know exactly how to speak to our customer - consistently and confidently.
Key Responsibilities:Sub-edit and proofread all editorial and marketing copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with the NET-A-PORTER tone of voice Write some promotional and website copy when required, including but not limited to emails, homepage/landing page content, and social media Collaborate with editors to craft compelling headlines and trim content while maintaining voice and intent Support the Content Manager in managing copy flow, chasing deadlines and overseeing team output Input and monitor SEO keywords where required Liaise with project managers, editors and designers to manage approvals and implement feedback efficiently

Essential Skills and Experience:Proven sub-editing and proofreading experience in a luxury fashion editorial or e-commerce setting Flawless command of the English language, with confidence working in American English Exceptional attention to detail and grammatical accuracy Comfortable working at speed and managing a high volume of copy Strong working knowledge of Mac OS, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma and content management systems Highly organized and able to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit Positive, professional attitude with a strong sense of initiative
