Position Summary


To manage the sub-contract procurement team and sub tier suppliers and well as the China Commodity

Identify, develop, and lead Procurement opportunities, along with executing the defined strategies for the management of all sub-contract services across PCC Aerostructures UK.

Primary Responsibilities



Manage and develop a team that executes good working practices that can work professionally as part of a multi-functional team. To support the Buyers in the delivery of targets / projects, and to focus on synergies and strategies to support business objectives. Develop a strategic supplier consolidation project to reduce the supply base and streamline business processes, along with developing long term supplier relationships to maximise supply chain effectiveness. To develop metrics, including audits to validate, monitor and drive improved supplier performance for the supply chain to achieve the targeted levels of delivery, quality, cost, and customer service. To co-ordinate key supplier rate readiness reviews through forecast provision, maintenance, and long-term agreement / contract implementation To identify, own and lead delivery of Procurement pipeline projects which achieve savings more than annual targets. Ensuring that forecasted performance is continually updated To lead and support on customer focused projects and to act as a liaison point representing Procurement with internal / external customers and sub-contract suppliers Improve EBIT through reducing spend on outside procurement, and increasing payment terms To ensure that all staff are conforming to policies and procedures within their daily tasks.

Highly effective communicator with the presence and confidence to influence three-directionally across the organization. Successful track record with strong career progression within a forward thinking organisation. Financial understanding and the ability to handle and present numerical data.
Procurement background and knowledge of engineering production methods preferred including milling, turning and fabrication.

Willingness to travel according to business opportunities.

Experience And Education

GCSE's Grades A - C CIPS Qualified or in training of Educated to degree level or above/equivalent experience (desirable) Experience within a Manufacturing environment (desirable) Aerospace / Automotive Industry knowledge Good Organisational Fit within a wider stakeholder team Experience in managing teams and excellent manager / people skills three directionally Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Can do Mindset to find a way to make the day, and deliver on commitments

Pay: 45,000.00-50,000.00 per year
