Job Description

We are pleased to advertise the position of a subcontractor electrical engineer at Vilo Engineering LTD, This is a subcontracting position with the opportunity to earn 40k - 50k depending on experience.

You will be expected to work on-site from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Role & Responsibilities



? Carrying out EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) in domestic and commercial properties.

? Performing remedial works following EICRs.

? Installing, testing, and commissioning electrical systems in residential and commercial projects.

? Completing consumer unit (fuse board) replacements and upgrades.

? Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults (fault finding and rectification).

? Carrying out first fix and second fix electrical works on refurbishments, extensions, and new builds.

? Supporting installation and maintenance of specialist systems (e.g. door entry, CCTV, fire alarm systems).

? Ensuring all works comply with current IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and health & safety standards.

? Producing clear job reports and certification as required (e.g. EIC, EICR, Minor Works Certificates).

? Maintaining a professional approach at all times and representing Vilo Engineering Ltd on site.

You are expected to carry out all work to the required professional standard and in compliance with company procedures, industry regulations, and health & safety requirements.

Punctuality, reliability, and professionalism are essential at all times when representing Vilo Engineering Ltd.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year

Electrical: 1 year (preferred)
