Location: Birmingham, B36
Salary: 32,916 - 51,048 (MPS/UPS) with TLR 3,477
Start: January Or ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Permanent or Day Rate Equivalent
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, ambitious, and inspirational Subject Leader of Computer Science to join our dedicated and supportive team.
The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the subject and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will motivate and inspire students to develop their curiosity, creativity, and love of learning in a fully inclusive classroom environment.
In addition to teaching responsibilities, you will serve as the Quality Assurance Nominee, ensuring the effective management of BTEC programmes and driving best practice across the school.
We are looking for someone with:

  • Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Strong communication skills and effective behaviour management.
  • The capacity to differentiate teaching to support students of all abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
