Subscription Aquisition Marketing Manager

Job Description

Our client produces an internationally popular science and technology magazine, in print and digitally. They now require a proven Subscription Acquisition Marketing Manager to join their team and develop and execute global and localised marketing strategies for on and offline channels. You goal is to drive subscription growth!
Working closely with the with the head of campaign marketing, this role will focus on acquiring new subscribers through targeted campaigns whilst maintaining brand consistency. The ideal candidate will have previous subscriptions marketing experience on a global scale with demonstrable experience of both global and localised marketing campaign management in the US (including direct mail and paid digital marketing agency strategy).
Essential skills:
Recurring revenue generation experience (subscriptions)
Multi-channel campaign experience - traditional and digital
Strong copywriting skills
Well organised and very proactive
Key purpose:
To deliver subscription sales across all channels
Create and implement subscription acquisition marketing plans
Planning and execution of offline and traditional marketing channels
Managing the relationship with the external agencies
Work with the product and audience teams
Monitor campaign performance, track key metrics
Work closely with the CRM team
Collaborate with key stakeholders
Deliver exceptional messaging through marketing copy
The candidate should be able to provide;
3-4 years proven experience in global acquisition marketing management, both on and offline marketing channels, with a strong focus on customer acquisition and subscription-based business models
Required experience includes:
Deep understanding of different marketing channels
A skilful storyteller, with a natural flair for writing engagement marketing copy
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to develop creative and engaging marketing materials
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
Naturally intuitive, a creative problem solver, questions the norm
Positive, energetic, can-do attitude. Problem solver
Exceptionally organised and target driven
