Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Sandwich Maker, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer orders, ensuring quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables and preparing sauces. Engage with customers to take orders and provide recommendations, utilising upselling techniques when appropriate. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Follow basic maths skills for measuring ingredients accurately.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. Understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Basic maths skills for handling orders and inventory management. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of orders.

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
